Everything is at stake- your safety, your self-worth, your idea of who you are and who you want to be. This is why I assure that you will be among fellow travelers as you explore yourself and your world freely without fear of judgment, rejection or abandonment. Feedback and discussion arise from a place of empathy & care. Our motto comes from the author, Henry James: “Three things in human life are important. The first is to be kind. And the third is to be kind.” And we reflect on Kahlil Gibran's observation that “Tenderness and kindness are not signs of weakness and despair, but manifestations of strength and resolution.”

Typically, we meet one evening per week from approximately 6:30-9:30pm, for 12 sessions. I close the group after the second session, meaning that there will be no new participants after that evening. Also, my groups do not exceed FOUR individuals, so there is plenty of time to both learn new materials and experience individualized attention during the course of three hours. I offer individual therapy to supplement the group work, as needed, and I find that this combination fosters rapid, concrete progress. Through validation, enhanced self-worth and an understanding of who we are through IFS therapy, Attachment and brain neuroplasticity, you will make lasting, positive life changes while letting go of trauma-induced strategies that no longer serve you.
